Beginners Yoga Workshop

On this course we cover the foundations of yoga.
Through yoga poses mindfulness is learnt which revitalises the ability to tune in and listen to the body. We guide you through basic yoga poses with complimentary yoga techniques that help discover your limitations, open up learning toward personalising your practice, and explore new boundaries and capabilities of physical awareness, strength and capacity.
The 5 week course involves a 90min session each Sunday substantially consisting of week by week edification through yoga postures enabling advancement and building familiarity with yoga. At a level for beginners and those new to yoga, this course is also deeply gratifying for those returning after a break, or wishing to simplify and deepen your practice as it offers much to gain experientially.
Along with basic foundational yoga postures and technique this course aims to provide you with developing mind-body awareness and to prepare you for practicing in beginner/entry level and mixed ability/general yoga classes. Our intention is help you feel yoga class ready, aware of your physical self, and confident in your ability to practice safely within the limitations of your body's capabilities.
